Sydney Jordan
Sydney is currently based in Denver, CO after dancing with the Denver Nuggets as a professional NBA Dancer. Originally from the Nashville area, she began dancing at a young age training in all styles of dance. She graduated with a B.A. in Dance from the University of Tampa, also double minoring in Film & Media Arts and Psychology.

Sydney had many pre-professional opportunities at a young age training with Walt Disney World, Moscow Ballet, Nashville Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Middle Tennessee Youth Ballet, and more. She officially began her professional dance career in college. She performed in multiple shows at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, including Howl-O-Scream’s FIENDS, Gwazi Beats, Summer Celebration and Christmas Town. She traveled internationally with JUNTOS Collective to teach dance in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala and Oaxaca, Mexico. Sydney is also an experienced photographer and videographer, who started her own photography business in 2020. She showcased her most recent screen dance at American College Dance Association, where her choreography was chosen to be showcased in both the Formal and Informal Concerts. Sydney choreographed and assisted in directing a dance film for WEDU, with Christopher Boulton, that was aired on PBS. She has choreographed for multiple shows at the University of Tampa, where she was also awarded the “Charlene Gordon Award in Dance” upon graduation, which is the highest honor in the College of Arts and Letters at the University of Tampa.
